Bull WalrusView more work by Edwin Noongwook
Noongwook's knowledge of walrus anatomy and deft hand result in a piece that blends biology and design. The form of the body is upright and statuesque, almost regal. The bumps on the shoulders and fine lines of the skin, in Nunguk's hand, become more than an observation and function additionally as a delicate enrichment of the surface of the ivory.
