Ivory owl, Circa 1975Tommy Antoghame always used beautiful ivory in his carving. Tommy carved various animals but was always known for his owls, and from this example we can see why. The owl is large and heavy and sits on a gorgeous piece of fossilized ivory. The eyes are a combination fossil ivory and baleen inlay.
